Having done first stage of this bungalow 15 years prior it was a pleasure to revisit, in the Milford beachfront domain it has been all too common to see buildings, of an older nature, demolished in lieu of the latest trend, it was great to work with skillful builders Coast & Country Ltd and passionate clients to expand a house they love by developing an upper storey master bedroom suite and extend a wing out towards the seaward end, retaining the integrity of the past.

Devonport Additions & Alterations

Additions and alterations on a dilapidated villa including new custom designed pool development with sunken patio, pool house, outdoor fire with off-form concrete walls, paying homage to the military bunkers of Devonport. House construction by Jed Rice Builder, Pool construction by Coast & Country Homes Ltd. Cheltenham Additions & Alterations
One of Devonport's grand old historic category B listed villas, required a total restoration together with the addition of new pool, sauna, decks, double garage with internal access and a new north facing verandah to improve indoor/outdoor flow .

Additions and alterations - an existing 3 level transitional villa for absentee owners to provide a turn key finished product. North Shore Construction Ltd, Trinity Interior Design, pool and landscaping by Ron Dykeman from Bespoke NZ Architectural Landscape Design.
Prior to additions this house was run as a 5 star air BNB with 3 guest rooms located outside with no internal access. The house was returned to a family home with new kitchen and butlers pantry replacing inner guest room, reconfigured internal spaces and the addition of loggia for shelter and connection of spaces.
