From a young age I have always had a passion about design, starting with model boats, planes and leading on to yachts, surfboards, motorcycles and cars.  I glean a great deal of pleasure from designing things from scratch, constructing them and then seeing them perform.

Born in Devonport (where my family and I still reside) I grew up with love of it's heritage values, I harboured a fondness for many of the individual houses that, as time passed, I have had the opportunity to be involved in their redevelopment. I am often asked "what is your style" my reply is "the site, light and sense of place dictates the style" each one of my commissions is unique to the Client and brief.  Every project is a fresh slate, bespoke, from the smallest alteration through to large restorations and new builds. 

 

I have a wealth of experience and am able to advise on the building compliance requirements, feasibility and scope of a project within the New Zealand Building code.  Then to deliver an outcome which is individually tailored to the Clients' needs, personal aspirations and has the ability to delight, inspire and transform.
